Overview
AWS Hosting and Management for UAE Businesses
Most UAE companies and startups move to AWS for speed, then meet the hard parts later: data residency, security reviews and a recovery plan nobody has tested. Pixbit designs, migrates and runs AWS environments in the Middle East (UAE) Region, me-central-1, with backups and failover planned from day one. Our engineers also build Laravel, React, Next.js and Flutter products, so one team manages your application and its infrastructure together.

Pixbit sets up, migrates and manages the core AWS services UAE businesses run on, from EC2 and Lambda to RDS, S3 and CloudFront. Every environment is built as code, monitored with CloudWatch and fully documented, so your team can always see what runs, where it runs and who has access to it.
AWS Services We Manage
EC2 and Lambda Compute
Right-sized EC2 instances, containers on Amazon ECS and serverless functions on AWS Lambda, chosen per workload. Auto scaling absorbs Ramadan, White Friday and campaign spikes without idle servers running all year round.
Elastic Load Balancing
Application Load Balancers spread traffic across Availability Zones, while CloudFront serves content close to users in the UAE and wider GCC. Health checks remove failing servers automatically, so customers keep reaching your app during updates.
Managed Databases
Amazon RDS for MySQL and PostgreSQL, Aurora and DynamoDB, set up with Multi-AZ standby, automated backups, point-in-time recovery and encryption at rest, with all data held in the UAE Region.
Migration
We move servers, databases and applications from on-premise or other hosting to AWS in planned waves. Each wave is rehearsed, data syncs before cutover, and a rollback path stays ready until you sign off.
Cloud Storage
Amazon S3, EBS and EFS storage, with lifecycle rules that move older data to archive tiers automatically. Versioning, AWS Backup plans and copies kept in a second location protect files, databases and servers from deletion or ransomware.
Security
IAM roles with least-privilege access, multi-factor sign-in, AWS KMS encryption, GuardDuty threat detection and Security Hub checks against CIS benchmarks. Every change is logged in CloudTrail, giving auditors a full record of who changed what.
AWS Compliance and Data Residency for UAE Businesses
Where your data sits on AWS is a legal question in the UAE, not only a technical one. Pixbit maps each workload to the rules it falls under and configures AWS to match. We prepare your environment for audits and work alongside your legal advisers.
UAE Region Hosting
The AWS Middle East (UAE) Region, me-central-1, opened in 2022 with three Availability Zones. We keep databases, backups and logs in-country when your rules require it.
UAE PDPL
The Personal Data Protection Law sets conditions for processing and transferring personal data outside the UAE. We design data flows, access controls and retention to match.
Government and Critical Sectors
Government entities and critical infrastructure follow the UAE Information Assurance Regulation and, in Dubai, DESC cloud security standards. We align configuration and evidence to those controls.
Healthcare Data
Federal Law No. 2 of 2019 generally requires health data to be stored inside the UAE. We host patient systems in-country with the access logging DHA, DoH and MOHAP projects expect.
Financial Services
CBUAE-licensed firms, and companies in DIFC or ADGM, face outsourcing, data protection and audit rules. We build the logging, encryption and access reviews those regulators ask for.
Audit Evidence
AWS Config, CloudTrail and Security Hub produce a running record of settings and changes, so audit preparation draws on evidence already collected, not screenshots gathered the week before.
Downtime is what UAE businesses fear most in the cloud: an hour offline stops orders, payments and customer logins. Pixbit designs every UAE workload to stay up through a zone outage and recover quickly from a regional one, with backups and a recovery plan tested before go-live.
01
Multi-AZ by Default
Applications, load balancers and databases run across Availability Zones with automatic failover, so a single zone outage does not take your service offline.
02
Cross-Region Backups
AWS Backup copies data to a second region you approve, balancing UAE residency rules against recovery needs, with encryption and retention set per system.
03
Agreed Recovery Targets
We set recovery time and recovery point objectives with you for each system, then choose backup-and-restore, pilot light or warm standby to meet them.
04
Rehearsed Restores
Recovery runbooks are tested by restoring real backups into a clean environment, so the first full recovery never happens during an actual incident.
05
Infrastructure as Code
Terraform or CloudFormation templates describe every network, server and permission, so an environment can be rebuilt in another region from version control.
06
Monitoring and Response
CloudWatch alarms, health dashboards and an agreed escalation path mean incidents reach an engineer quickly, and you receive clear status updates throughout.
